✅ Need-based, depending on project cost & repayment capacity.
✅ Maximum limits:
✅ For construction/purchase/repairs/renovation/additions/furnishing: 25%
✅ For purchase of land/plot: 50%
✅ Equitable/regular mortgage of the property to be purchased/constructed.
✅ Property to be insured against fire, earthquake, flood, riots, etc., with bank clause.
✅ Up to 20 years including moratorium
✅ Moratorium:
1️⃣ Borrower must have stable and continuous income adequate for repayment.
2️⃣ Age of individual borrower should not exceed 60 years.
3️⃣ Approved plan required in case of construction.
4️⃣ Affidavit/undertaking required stating:
✅ For purchase/construction: up to ₹70 lakhs, based on repayment capacity.
✅ For major repairs/renovation: up to ₹10 lakhs per unit.
✅ Total housing loans exposure up to 10% of total assets
✅ Can exceed by 5% for housing loans to individuals for purchase/construction up to ₹10 lakhs.
